Impact Officer Kolawole Ijiyemi was presented with the employee of the month award for May by Luke Keenan (Client Operations Manager) Samir Nasir (Impact Operations Manager | Midlands) & Billy Tracy (Impact Category Manager | South) and received huge recognition for his quick and life-saving actions.
While performing his duties, Kola responded to a call to assist an elderly man who had fallen at a bus stop. With his quick thinking and prompt first aid actions, Kolawole administered an AED shock, restored the man’s pulse and began immediate CPR until the paramedics arrived. The attending paramedics confirmed that the AED shock was crucial in saving the gentleman’s life.
