Monitor CCTV systems and alarm panels to ensure site security.
Identify and respond to suspicious behaviour or unauthorised access.
Access Control
Verify identification and credentials of staff, visitors, and contractors
Monitor and control entry/exit points across the premises
Enforce visitor sign-in procedures in line with site protocols
Incident Response
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, including fire, medical incidents, and security breaches
Detain or escort individuals displaying suspicious or threatening behaviour, when appropriate
Liaise with emergency services as needed to ensure a swift and coordinated response
Reporting and Documentation
Prepare detailed incident reports and daily activity logs
Document observations and actions taken throughout each shift
Maintain accurate records of visitors, deliveries, and any unusual events
Customer Service
Assist visitors and staff by providing directions and general support
Serve as a visible presence to deter crime and discourage misconduct
Maintain a professional, courteous, and approachable manner at all times
Safety and Compliance
Conduct routine safety inspections, including fire exits and safety equipment
Ensure compliance with company policies, site procedures, and legal regulations
Identify and report hazards or maintenance issues promptly
Liaise with police or emergency services when required
Carry out bag and pat-down searches in line with customer-specific requirements
Perform vehicle searches as specified by client protocols
